1. Who we are

This website (verita.com) is the corporate and marketing website of the Verita Healthcare Group. It is operated by Verita Healthcare Group Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore under company number 201534494W, with its principal place of business at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051 ("Verita", "we", "us", "our"). Verita Healthcare Group Limited is the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

This website presents the parent group and its divisions — Verita Life (integrative cancer care), Verita Health (longevity and regenerative medicine), Verita Neuro (neuro and spinal care), Verita Labs (R&D and diagnostics) and Verita Systems (products and licensing).

This website is an informational website only. It is not a clinic and does not provide clinical or patient-care services. Bookings, treatment, patient management and clinical services take place on the individual division websites and in our clinics — not on this website. Those services may be governed by separate privacy notices, which we encourage you to review.

This website does not collect any medical, health or patient data. Please do not include medical details, diagnoses, treatment history or any other health information in any message you send us through this website. If you are a patient or prospective patient with a clinical enquiry, we will direct you to the appropriate division so that your information can be handled under the right safeguards.

2. What personal information we collect, and how

We only collect the limited personal information you actively choose to give us through this website:

  • Contact / enquiry form submissions. When you complete an enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, the organisation you provide (if any), your enquiry type (for example: patient, doctor, partner, press, careers or licensing) and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter sign-up. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide.
  • Usage data (only with your consent). If you accept analytics in our cookie banner, Google Analytics collects standard usage information — pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, referring site, and approximate location derived from a truncated (anonymised) IP address — to help us understand and improve the site. If you decline, none of this is collected. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to withdraw consent.

We do not operate accounts, logins, e-commerce, payments or any transactional features on this website. We do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) data through this website, and we ask you not to submit it.

For information about the single strictly-necessary item this website stores in your browser (your cookie-consent choice), see the "Cookies" section below and our Cookie Policy.

3. The lawful bases we rely on

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR or similar laws apply to you, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Handling your enquiry. We process enquiry-form data on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to you and operating our business, and/or to take steps at your request prior to entering into any relationship (pre-contractual / contract). You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (see "Your rights").
  • Newsletter and marketing. We process your email address for the newsletter on the basis of your consent, which you give when you subscribe and can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal compliance. Where we are required to process personal information to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on that obligation as our basis.

Where you are in a jurisdiction whose law does not use the "lawful basis" framework, we process your personal information in accordance with that applicable law and the consent you provide.

4. How we use your information

We use the personal information described above only to:

  • respond to your enquiry and route it to the appropriate person or division within the group;
  • send you our newsletter, where you have subscribed;
  • maintain and secure this website and prevent misuse or fraud; and
  • comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate this website and respond to you:

  • Within the group. We may share an enquiry with the relevant Verita division (for example, routing a patient enquiry to Verita Life or Verita Neuro) so that the right team can respond.
  • Service providers (sub-processors) acting on our behalf: Pipedrive — our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, which receives and stores enquiry-form submissions so that we can manage and respond to them. Sanity — our content management system and content delivery network (CDN), which stores and delivers the website's content, images and assets. Google — provides Google Analytics, processing anonymised usage data only where you have consented to analytics.
  • Legal and corporate reasons. We may disclose personal information where required to comply with the law, to enforce our terms, to protect our rights, property or safety (or those of others), or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.

We require our service providers to process personal information only on our instructions and to keep it secure.

6. International transfers

Verita is headquartered in Singapore and our group operates internationally. Your personal information may therefore be transferred to, stored in or accessed from countries outside your own, including Singapore and the European Economic Area, as well as any country in which our sub-processors (such as Pipedrive and Sanity) operate.

Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we put in place an appropriate safeguard recognised under the GDPR / UK GDPR — for example, transfer to a country covered by an adequacy decision, or the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum) with the recipient.

You can contact us at the address below for more information about the safeguards we use.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose we collected it:

  • Enquiry-form data is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, after which we delete it (we may keep a minimal suppression record so that we do not contact you again).

We may keep information for longer where the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information; request erasure of your information ("right to be forgotten"); request that we restrict processing; object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time; request portability of information you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format; and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent (for example, for the newsletter) — withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the "Contact us" section below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You will not have to pay a fee in most cases, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or another jurisdiction with a data-protection authority, and you believe we have not handled your personal information properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

9. Cookies

This website is privacy-first. It does not run advertising or social-media tracking, and it does not load analytics unless you opt in. The only item it stores in your browser without your consent is a single strictly-necessary record of your own cookie-consent choice. With your consent, we use Google Analytics; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. For full details, please see our Cookie Policy.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through this website, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
